Women allegedly steal $240 worth of liquor in Merrimack

MERRIMACK - One of two women who allegedly stole about $240 worth of liquor from a local store on Sunday has been arrested.

Police say Alice Hauser, 39, of 144 Pearl St., Manchester, walked into the New Hampshire Liquor Store in Merrimack on Sunday with another woman, and allegedly left with several products they had not purchased.

Hauser was arrested on Monday and charged with theft involving willful concealment. She was held without bail, and was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at the 9th Circuit Court in Merrimack.

"The matter is still under investigation by Merrimack police, and additional arrests may be forthcoming," police said in a release.
