Hudson police: Bullet through window was stray from target practice

HUDSON - A bullet fired into a window at a Breakneck Road residence was a stray bullet from a nearby area used for target practice, police said.

Police said the bullet hit the home, and lodged into glass, shortly before 6 p.m. Monday. Police said the bullet was fired from an area near power lines behind Breakneck Road.

There is a 300-foot "buffer zone" away from residences when firing weapons, police said. Anyone with information of who was firing a gun near Breakneck Road on Monday is asked to call police at 886-6011.
