Three John Stark principal finalists to meet with public Thursday night
Principal Chris Mosca tendered his resignation earlier this year. Mosca, who lives in Maine, has been living in Weare part of the week and returning to his family the rest of the week for the past three years. The distance became too much and at the end of the school year, Mosca will return to Maine.
In February, the school district formed a committee to replace Mosca, and this week, Superintendent Lorraine Tacconi-Moore announced that three finalists have been selected for the job. They include Christopher Corkery, who currently serves as assistant principal at Campbell High School in Litchfield; Goffstown High School guidance coordinator Laura Rogers; and James Tremblay, the assistant principal at Merrimack Valley High School in Penacook.
The three finalists will meet and greet students, parents and members of the community during a special forum at the John Stark Regional High School tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. The forum will be held in room 192.
