Hundreds of children were on the (egg) hunt in Hudson
More than 8,000 plastic eggs were scattered on the grounds of the former amusement park and zoo.
Staff members, volunteers and members of area Girl Scout troops were hard at work filling eggs last week and hiding them on the field Friday afternoon, according to Hudson Recreation Director David Yates.
The evening was divided into two sessions - one for children in the first grade and younger, and another for those in grades 2 and up.
A visit from the Easter Bunny concluded this year's festivities.
