Fire Departments clear brush fire in Hooksett

Fire departments extinguished a 100 by 30 foot brush fire on Zapora Drive near Space Center in Hooksett Friday, the cause of which remains unknown.

Hooksett police responded to the scene just before 4 p.m., and the fire was out a little after 5 p.m. The causes of the fire are still under investigation, including the question of whether it was naturally occurring or man-made.

No property was damaged or people injured by the fire.

The Hooksett, Bow, and Allenstown fire departments responded to the scene. A state fire warden also responded “as a resource.”
