DERRY – The Derry Police Department is asking for help identifying a suspect who robbed the East Derry General Store Sunday evening.

At approximately 6:12 p.m., the store, located at 50 E. Derry Road, was robbed by a white female described as approximately 5-foot-4, weighing 120 to 130 pounds, with blue or green eyes, blonde hair, and wearing a green, hooded sweatshirt under a black North Face jacket, with jeans, and sneakers.

Derry Police Capt. Vernon Thomas said surveillance video captured images of both the suspect and a blue, four-door Dodge Neon that police believe was involved in the robbery.

During the robbery, the suspect said she had a firearm, but Thomas said that no firearm was shown.

The Derry Police Department is seeking assistance with the identity of the female and/or the suspect vehicle, Thomas said.

Anyone with information or questions is asked to contact Detective Christopher Talbot at 432-6111 or by email at ctalbot@derrynhpolice.com.
