NASHUA - A city man was arrested at 1:40 a.m. Sunday on a second-degree assault charge accusing him of choking a woman during an argument.

John Greenlaw, 27, was charged after police were sent to his home for a domestic-violence incident reported at 11:45 p.m. Saturday.

The woman, who police did not identify in a news release detailing the arrest, suffered minor injuries in the assault but did not require medical treatment.

Police said Greenlaw fled the scene prior to their arrival and was arrested when he returned.
