Hudson 19-year-old arrested after ATV crash


HUDSON - A 19-year-old local man was arrested on charges of reckless driving and disobeying a police officer after he sped past police while on an all-terrain vehicle, then drove it off an embankment and crashed into a propane tank.

Police said Jonathan Gray drove past a police cruiser about 8:10 p.m. Wednesday near Christine Drive before going off the road. Police found him several minutes later lying in front of a business on 3 Christine Drive after his ATV crashed into a propane tank. Fire crews checked the tank for leaks and shut it off, police said.

Gray, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

He is scheduled to appear May 2 in Nashua Circuit Court.
