Final committal of Rudman's remains set for June at Arlington National Cemetery
WASHINGTON -- The final committal of the late New Hampshire Sen. Warren Rudman’s remains will be at Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 18 at 11 a.m.
Marion Phelan, Rudman’s special assistant at the Albright Stonebridge Group, has told Rudman’s friends and associates that a short service in the Memorial Chapel at Fort Myer is planned, followed by a procession behind a horse-drawn caisson to the Niche Wall for the final full honors tribute.
Phelan asked anyone attending to arrive no later than 10:30 a.m. at the Hatfield Gate of Fort Myer.
Rudman died last November at age 82 after a period of declining health.
