Fourth person arrested in Hollis home invasion


HOLLIS — A fourth person has been arrested in connection with a May 17 home invasion that left a Mooar Hill Road man seriously injured, police said.

Police said Ronald Dunphy, age 53, of Nashua, was involved in an incident that "precipitated" the home invasion, in which a 41-year-old man was beaten and stabbed several times.

Cynthia Nagele, 57, of Lowell, Mass., Ralph Doucett, 53, and Paul Carbonneau, 43, all of Lowell, Mass., were arrested May 17. Police said Carbonneau and Doucette identified themselves as police officers to gain entry to the man's home and that Nagele attacked the man with a hammer and a knife.

Police did not elaborate on what Dunphy is accused of doing to cause the incident. He is scheduled to appear Tuesday in Nashua Circuit Court.
