Hudson woman arrested after hit-and-run accident
HUDSON -- A Hudson woman was arrested Saturday night in connection with a hit and run accident earlier that evening.
Police responded at 8:55 p.m. to the parking lot of the White Birch Catering and Banquet Hall, 222 Central St. Police said a female driving a 2001 Dodge pick-up hit a parked 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee, got out of her truck and ran away.
Police, helped by a Londonderry K-9 officer, searched the area. At 10:45 p.m., the alleged driver, identified as Nancy Williams, 44, of Hudson, was arrested without incident at a residence near the White Birch. Williams was released on $3,000 surety bail until her arraignment in 9th Circuit Court – Nashua Division on June 20 on charges of stalking, driving after suspension and conduct after an accident.
