Manchester resident to discuss time in a Nazi labor camp

MANCHESTER — During World War II, a young Polish American girl named Cecylia was imprisoned in a Nazi labor camp. After more than 60 years, she has decided to share her extraordinary story.

On Thursday, June 13, the Manchester City Library will welcome Cecylia Ziobro Thibault to discuss her years in the slave labor camps of Nazi Germany.

The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Winchell Room on 405 Pine St., and will feature her memoir titled, "Trapped in a Nightmare, The Story of an American Girl Growing Up in the Nazi Slave Labor Camps".

Following the lecture, she will will answer questions and sign her book.
