Woman wakes up to find intruder in Laconia apartment

LACONIA – A woman woke up early Thursday morning to find an intruder inside her South Main Street apartment.

Startled, the intruder fled the 371 S. Main St. apartment.

The incident happened just before 1 a.m. Police searched the area and brought in a Gilford K-9 team to try and track down the intruder, but were unsuccessful.

The woman was unable to give police a description of the intruder, given the darkness.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 524-5252 or Laconia Crimeline at 527-1717.
