Four indigo buntings, a scarlet tanager, two rose-breasted grosbeaks, a pine warbler, a prairie warbler, a black-and-white warbler, a common yellowthroat, a chestnut-sided warbler, a blue-winged warbler, several ovenbirds, an eastern wood-peewee, a willow flycatcher, and a great-crested flycatcher were all reported from the Oyster River Forest in Durham on June 9.
