Somero is top Am qualifier at Montcalm

Jamin Somero of New Ipswich and Crotched Mountain Golf Club was the top qualifier in Friday's State Am qualifier at Montcalm Golf Club in Enfield. Somero shot a 75.

In all, 12 players made the cut: Vince Kimball (Lebanon, Hanover Country Club) 76, Jeffrey Rogers (Stratham, Breakfast Hill Golf Club) 77, Kurt Wuenschel (North Sutton, Baker Hill Golf Club) 78, Dave Mollica (Stratham, Golf Club of New England) 80, Charles McNeeley (Cambridge, Mass., Country Club of New Hampshire) 80, Zach Pollard (Lebanon, Hanover Country Club) 81, Kevin Doherty (Bedford, Manchester Country Club) 81, Kell Traffie (New Ipswich, Crotched Mountain) 81, Colin McGee (Portsmouth, Pease Golf Club) 82, Tim Driscoll (Stratham, Golf Club of New England) 82 and Thomas Bouchard (Milford, Nashua Country Club) 82.

The next qualifiers will be Monday at Concord Country Club and Tuesday at Canterbury Woods Country Club.
