Rochester woman arrested for alleged underage party
ROCHESTER — A local woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly hosting an underage party at her home in May.
Jessica Chamberlain, 33, of 7A Sarah Court, was charged with facilitating an underage drinking party, facilitating a drug house party, four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, criminal contempt and applying body art on a minor.
Police responded to the home on May 18 after receiving a report of a disturbance, which led to the discovery of the alleged underage party. Investigators determined there was probable cause to arrest Chamberlain, according to police.
Chamberlain, who was arrested Tuesday, was held in Strafford County Jail in Dover after she refused bail. She was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in 7th Circuit – Rochester District Court.
Seven of the charges are Class B misdemeanors while applying body art on a minor is a violation.
