The New Yorker: Exeter alum recalls class visit from novice novelist Dan Brown

I began interviewing my classmates about Dan Brown’s visit, thinking it might make for a funny piece about a long-ago brush with a famous writer. It turns out that, over the course of the last fifteen years, the visit has become one of those fractured, inconclusive, “Rashomon”-like memories. None of us remembers it the same way.
