Man hurt by rolling logs in Brentwood

June 22. 2013 9:03PM

BRENTWOOD — A man was hurt when logs fell on him as he removed a tree from property along Route 125 Saturday morning.

Brentwood Police Chief Wayne Robinson said the man had cut down the tree and was attempting to move some logs shortly before noon.

"He had the tree cut and was going to get ready to winch it, and it looked like he fell and three logs on a side hill rolled on him," Robinson said.

The man was taken to Elliot Hospital for treatment.

His name was not immediately available, fire officials said.
