NH teams sweep Twin State lacrosse games

New Hampshire captured wins in both the boys' and girls' Twin State Hanover Lions "Byrne Cup" all-star lacrosse games Saturday in Hanover.

The New Hampshire boys defeated Vermont 12-9 and the New Hampshire girls won a slugfest over Vermont, 19-16.

On the boys' side, New Hampshire had 13 players reach the scoresheet, led by Mackenzie Tetreault (two goals) and Dan Auger (two goals, assist) and single tallies from Galen Antolino, Jesse Brown, Mitch Burke, Jason Campbell, Patrick Goff, Brendan Megan, Matt Milne and Taylor Wallace.

Riley Keenan and David Phelps added assists and goalies Mitchell Green (six saves) and Sebastian Olsen (8 saves) backstopped the New Hampshire team.

For the Granite State girls, Emily Whitney scored four goals and added three assists, and Olivia Eaton and Devon Parker each scored four goals.

Emily Baker (goal, assist), Gemma Bready (goal, assist), Jackie Geisler (assist), Abby Lui (assist), Maureen Moran (goal), Alison Otto (goal), Nicole Pettiglio (two goals, assist), Callie Santos (two assists) and Julia Wasserman (goal) rounded out the New Hampshire scoring. Goalies Megan Kolopsky (four saves) and Erin Turner (two saves) shared the cage duties.
