Abdifatah's 9-year journey ends in Manchester reunion
CONCORD (UNHCR) – When Batulo and Salad went to the airport in Manchester, New Hampshire one evening last month to fetch their 13-year old son Abdifatah, it was no ordinary airport pick-up. The couple had last seen the boy nine years ago, in a refugee camp in Kenya. The emotional scene at the airport marked the end of a long and frustrating effort to reunite their family.
