Burglar flees when confronted by Goffstown homeowner

A would-be burglar who attempted to break into a Goffstown home Friday morning was scared off by the homeowner.

Police are investigating the attempted burglary that happened about 10 a.m. on St. Anselm Drive.

The homeowner startled the intruder as he pulled the screen from a window. The intruder ran away.

The intruder is described as a white male, tall and skinny, with an unshaven face.

Police urge residents to be vigilant and notify them of suspicious persons and activity.
