Warner bridge washed out by heavy rain

WARNER _ A bridge in central New Hampshire has been washed away by waters running near flood stage because of heavy rains.
Police say officers have just arrived on the scene at Bartlett Loop bridge over Willow Brook. It was one of six bridges presented to the Board of Selectmen as on the state Department of Transportation's "red list."
Police said around 9 p.m. that the rain had stopped, but local creeks and streams were still running high because of the repeated storms passing through New Hampshire.

Warner firefighters described it as a small culvert bridge that was washed out by the water. There were no injuries and no homes were endangered by the loss of the bridge.
