After retiring as chief following a long career in Dover that included serving as a firefighter, lieutenant, captain and assistant chief, an opportunity in 2011 came up at the Division of Fire Standards and Training and Emergency Medical services to oversee the training of EMS and fire providers at the Fire Academy in Concord.
