Police say Merrimack man, drunk, falls asleep in stranger's home

RYAN MASZCZAK

MERRIMACK — Local police say a drunk man allegedly walked into the wrong house and fell asleep in the occupant's bed.

Ryan Maszczak, 35, of 12 Dalton Court, has been charged with criminal trespassing for the incident early Saturday morning.

Authorities received a call from a Kingston Court homeowner who reported that a man she did not know had walked into her bedroom. Police responded to the home and found Maszczak asleep in a bed, according to a release.

"Maszczak was intoxicated and appeared to have walked into the wrong residence," police said in the release.

He was arrested and later released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. He will be arraigned Aug. 9 at the 9th Circuit Court, Merrimack District Division.
