Manchester man charged with shoplifting in Hooksett

MANCHESTER - A Manchester man was arrested by Hooksett police Sunday afternoon on a charge of shoplifting.

Hooksett Officer Muzafer Aku responded at 3:02 p.m. Sunday to the Home Depot at 300 Quality Drive on a report of a shoplifter in custody. Aku reported the store's loss prevention personnel had taken Shawn Hill, 20 of Manchester into custody for allegedly taking four circuit breakers and concealing them in tin foil, and passing all points of sale without attempting to pay for the items.
Hill was arrested for shoplifting and taken to Hooksett police headquarters for booking and processing. He was released on personal recognizance bail of $2,000 and will appear in court August 28 for arraignment.
