Person rescued from roof of Farmington building


FARMINGTON - Police and fire officials rescued a person, described as handicapped, from the roof of a 3-story residential building at 24 Elm St. late Friday night.

A firefighter confirmed that the rescue happened shortly after 11:30 p.m. Friday, but said he didn't respond to the scene and had no further information about the incident, which was described as a rescue.

He referred questions to police, who could not be reached Friday night for comment.
