Rye home demolition case reaches N.H. Supreme Court
RYE — A land-use fight over whether a Wallis Road house near wetlands can be torn down and replaced with a larger structure has reached the state Supreme Court. Manchester residents George and Janice Beliveau appealed Rockingham Superior Court Judge Marguerite Wageling's 2012 ruling that affirmed the Zoning Board of Adjustment's denial of 14 ordinance and building code variances related to wetland and yard setbacks for a project at 21 Wallis Road.
