On Sunday, Aug. 18, join Training Effects, 3 Mohawk Drive, Londonderry for a solo performance by Lisa Guyer, former lead singer of Mama Kicks.
A $10 donation goes to the Salem Animal Rescue League and the Live and Let Live Farm. SARL is a non-profit organization whose goal is to find permanent, loving homes for the abandoned and unwanted animals.
The Live and Let Live Farm Live is an animal shelter that rescues abused and unwanted animals, mainly horses.
There will be boot camp demonstrations from 1p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Guyer will perform from 2:30-4 p.m.

XXXXXXXXX -Dog Walk & Run Scheduled to Make Day-Long PURRfect Event!
Bedford (7.29.2013)- The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire (ARLNH) is excited to announce Pet Fair will take place on September 21st, 2013 at Derryfield Park in Manchester. This day-long event will kick off with the 4th annual "My Dogs are Barking" 5k road race at 9:00am followed by the 10th annual Pet Step, a 2k walk, beginning at 11:00am. Dogs are welcome to participate in the run and/or the walk. Proceeds from Pet Fair help support the animals at the ARLNH. This rain or shine event promises to be fun, entertaining and mostly, a wonderful day to spend with your family and your dog!
Last year, almost 500 runners laced up their sneakers and hit the pavement, many with their four-legged friends, for the "My Dogs are Barking" 5k road race. Karen Moynihan, Director of Major Events at the ARLNH expects even more runners this year. "The race starts and ends at the very visible, Derryfield Park this year," Moynihan says. "It will be an enjoyable race, not just to run, but to watch as well!"
After the race runners can enjoy some delicious food and visit the exhibitor booths. There will be activities for the kids as well as dog demos and a petting zoo!
After the race, the runners are encouraged to cheer on the walkers of the 10th annual Pet Step 2k walk which begins at 11:00am. Fundraising teams and individuals show their support for homeless pets by raising necessary funds. Great prizes are given to individual fundraising leaders as well as teams.
