Lottery win makes for one lucky Bunny, Manchester man
Higgins, who works as a project manager for Hewlett Packard, will receive $365,000 a year, before taxes, for life. He’s guaranteed to receive a minimum of 20 years of payments. He said he has no plans to quit his job. “I love my job and I want to keep working,” he said.
Higgins bought his ticket Monday night at Bunny’s Superette, 75 Webster St., which sold three other sizable winning tickets in recent months: $1 million tickets to the May 18 and June 19 Powerball drawings and a $30,000 Megabucks Plus ticket for the May 4 drawing.
Lucky for Life is the only game in which all six New England states participate. Higgins is the first New Hampshire winner of the game which began in March. There have been three winners in Connecticut and three in Massachusetts. Drawings are Monday and Thursday.
