TD Bank moves Bedford jobs
BEDFORD — TD Bank is shifting a "small number" of jobs from Bedford to New Jersey and South Carolina, a bank spokeswoman said.
"After a careful review of our Asset Based Lending (ABL) operations function, we made a decision to centralize the function in our Mt. Laurel, N.J., and Greenville, S.C., locations," spokeswoman Jennifer Morneau said in an email. "As a result, the ABL operations roles currently based in Bedford, N.H., will transition to these two locations. We expect the transition to be complete in early November."
She said the bank is hoping to find alternative positions for affected employees, "whether at TD or in the surrounding market."
Morneau wouldn't cite the specific number of layoffs.
TD has approximately 915 employees in New Hampshire.
