The Greater Derry Londonderry Young Professionals will launch on Sept. 17, the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday.
The program, sponsored by Triangle Credit Union, is designed to be a resource to the twenty-something and thirty-somethings in the greater Derry and Londonderry region.
• New Hampshire's trade-related employment grew 26 percent, while total job growth stagnated, from 2004 to 2011.
• New Hampshire's goods exports have grown more than three times faster than state GDP since 2002.
• U.S. trade with free trade agreement (FTA) partner countries has led to export growth, and since 2002, New Hampshire's goods exports to FTA partners have increased by 111 percent. In 2012, $1.5 billion of New Hampshire's goods exports, or 43 percent, went to FTA partners.
State Motors Lincoln is having a "Driven to Give" Event on Friday benefiting Building Dreams for Marines.
For every test-drive taken, State Motors Lincoln will donate $20 to the Building Dreams for Marines program for a total amount of up to $6,000.

DURHAM — AIRMAR Technology Corp., a Milford-based manufacturer of electronic sensors, is collaborating with Plymouth State University Professor of Meteorology James Koermer to prove the viability and effectiveness of a portable lightning sensor that would accurately detect and measure the lightning type, direction and range to an atmospheric lightning event.
Projects vary from proof-of-concept to a substantial product or process design. Companies are required to provide matching dollars or services in an effort to improve leverage of NHIRC dollars.
A request for proposals is now open and will fund 12-month projects beginning January 1, 2014.
