Great Scott! Spaulding wins twice in Seacoast football jamboree

Spaulding of Rochester’s Trey Scott was the star of the night in Thursday’s Seacoast preseason football jamboree in Rochester.

Scott scored three touchdowns and added a point-after run and interception to lead the Red Raiders to wins of 14-0 over Kingswood of Wolfeboro and 16-0 over Somersworth in single-quarter contests. Tyler Snow added a PAT run and touchdown catch for Spaulding.

In the other matchup between Somersworth and Kingswood, the teams tied 6-6 after 12 minutes of play. Elyjah Dejoie scored on a five-yard run for Somersworth and Dan Eldrige passed to Tom McCullough for a 50-yard TD strike.
