Cape Cod Hospital says five exposed to NH equipment tainted with fatal brain disease
The medical equipment had been rented out and was used on other patients. Spinal procedures were carried out on nearly five patients at the Massachusetts’ Cape Cod Hospital and the infested patient’s brain tissue may have exposed the other patients to the dreaded disease.
