NH bankers group announces officers and directors
NHBA members elected K. Mark Primeau, president/CEO, Bank of New Hampshire, as chairman for the coming year. Primeau moved into the position after a year as vice-chairman, succeeding Michael J. Long, president/CEO of Community Guaranty Savings Bank.
Also elected to the NHBA Executive Committee were Joseph Carelli, president, Citizens Bank – NH-VT, vice chairman; Samuel L. Laverack, president, Meredith Village Savings Bank, treasurer; and Gregg R. Tewksbury, president/CEO, Savings Bank of Walpole, secretary.
Re-elected to the NHBA Board were Daniel R. Morrison, president/CEO, Optima Bank and Trust and Kathryn G. Underwood, president/CEO, Ledyard National Bank.
David H. Cassidy, Jr. of Bedford was named Community Banker of the Year, awarded annually to the banker who exemplifies the best in the banking profession and in service to their communities.
Cassidy was selected by a panel of leading public officials. Bank Commissioner Glenn Perlow presented the award.
