Girls' Volleyball
Newfound at Franklin, Epping at Raymond, Pinkerton at Salem

Bow High School's defense kept host Campbell of Litchfield at bay, allowing goalie Tim Bradley to earn the shutout with just two saves as the Falcons improved to 4-1 with a 2-0 win over Campbell in boys' soccer action Friday. Corey Plumb scored the first Bow goal in the 14th minute after a crossing pass from Chris Ketchum, and Josh DeYoung added an unassisted insurance goal in the 64th minute following a rebound off the crossbar. Andrew Picard recorded nine saves for Campbell, which dropped to 2-3.

Boys’ soccer

Bedford 1, Manchester Memorial 0:
At Manchester, an own goal gave Bedford the winning margin. Bedford improved to 4-2-0. Memorial goalie Shawn Cawley made seven saves. Bedford goalie Nick Barnard stopped seven in the shutout. Memorial fell to 2-3-2.

Souhegan 5, Manchester West 1: At Amherst, Devan Casey and Mike Hayden each scored a pair of goals to lead the Sabers (4-3). Aaron Hinton scored the other goal and Teigue Young made 10 saves. West (1-5) got its goal from Promise Kpee.

Derryfield 1, Newmarket 0: At Manchester, Lee Sipes scored in the 76th minute for the lone goal. Derryfield goalkeeper Drew Johnson made eight saves for his fifth shutout in six games as the Cougars improved to 6-0. Newmarket (2-3) goalie Cameron Stevens made 11 saves.

Memorial 2, Bishop Guertin 1 (2 OT): On Thursday in Manchester, Matt Contic scored the game-winner to raise Memorial’s record to 2-2-2. Tyler Bujwid tallied the regulation goal for Memorial and BG’s goal came from Chris Higley. Memorial goalie Shawn Cawley had six saves.

Nashua North 2, Dover 0: On Thursday in Nashua, Ahmed Abdelazia scored twice. Shayne Seidel and Zach Pike each earned an assist for North (1-5-1). North goalie Tim Closson had eight saves.

Salem 4, Keene 2: On Thursday in Keene, the Blue Devils received goals from Todd Righini, Andrew Doucette, and two from freshman Andrew Fichera. Assists for Salem were registered by Johnny Cail, Jake Bosworth, and Todd Righini.

Girls’ soccer

Derryfield 3, Newmarket 1:
At Manchester, Derryfield School remained undefeated and improved to 5-0. Freshman Gabi Brummett (goal, assist), Phoebe Socha and Chloe Warner led the way for the Cougars. Goalie Cam Huftalen made three saves and an own goal spoiled the shutout bid. Newmarket (5-2) goalie Maddie Teague made 21 saves to keep her team close.

Manchester Central 2, Londonderry 1: On Thursday in Manchester, Hailey Thompson Emily Duchesne scored for the Little Green (3-2). Maeve Holland scored for the Lancers (3-3).

Field hockeyNashua North 1, Dover 1 (OT): At Dover, Caitlin Russell scored the Nashua North goal while Megan Wilson notched the Dover tally. Dover is now 1-5-1 and North is 0-5-1. Londonderry 2, Manchester Central 2 (OT): At Londonderry, Julie Hamilton scored to tie the game, but overtime was not able to produce a winner. Hamilton assisted on the first Lancers (2-3-1) goal, which was scored by Jackie Curtin. Abby Jackson scored both goals for Central (2-3-1). Meghan Evens added an assist.

Newfound 3, Newport 0: At Bristol, Newfound took a 2-0 lead before halftime on two goals by Karisaa Bony and held on to improve to 4-1.

Lebanon 4, Coe-Brown 0: At Lebanon, Jeff Purdy (two goals, assist), Tanner Singleton (goal) and Martin Gradijian (goal) led the way for Lebanon (4-1) while goalie Kenny Wieitzman made four saves. Coe-Brown fell to 3-3-1.

Volleyball

Campbell 3, Farmington 0:
At Litchfield, Campbell remained unbeaten at 6-0 with game scores of 25-17, 25-22 and 25-10. Brianna Hardy (10 kills, 12 digs), Alex Trevains (10 kills), Olivia Martinage (five kills, two blocks), Val Boucher (15 service points, three aces , nine digs) and Sophie Scafidi (20 assists, two aces) led the way.

Goffstown 3, Hollis/Brookline 0: At Goffstown, the Grizzlies improved to 2-3 with game scores of 25-22, 27-25 and 25-21. Sav Werre (11 kills), Maddy Blake (11 kills) and Bella Zampieri (15 digs) led HB (3-2). Goffstown was paced by Molly Collimore (four blocks, two aces), Kendra Siemiesz (three blocks, three aces, 18 assists) and Rene Roggenbuck (six kills, five blocks).
