ROOT

The U.S. Marshals Service District of New Hampshire/Joint Fugitive Task Force has named Tyler Mathew Root as New Hampshire's fugitive of the week.

Root, 25, is wanted on warrants from Belknap County for failure to appear on a charge of sexual assault on a minor. Root is described as 6 feet 1, 270 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. He has a tribal tattoo on his upper left arm. He was last known to be living around Center Barnstead or Franklin and is likely still in one of those areas.

The U.S. Marshals Service advises the public not to attempt to apprehend a fugitive, who should be considered armed and dangerous. Instead, report any information to the U.S. Marshals Service's Concord office at 225-1632.
