NHIAA Football Roundup: Varied Dover attack downs Timberlane

Four players had touchdowns for the Dover Green Wave (1-3) in a 28-21 win over Timberlane of Plaistow in NHIAA football action Saturday. Cam Rewucki scored on a 6-yard run and Dwayne Gordon added a 7-yarder to lift host Dover to a 15-0 lead.

Tyler Furey answered with a 57-yard scoring run for Timberlane. Quarterback Derek Stegman had a 7-yard run for Dover.

Jason Hughes got that one back with a 12-yard TD run and it was 22-7 at the half.

Eric Waddington scored on a 1-yard run in the third period for Dover. Hughes scored on a 38-yarder for Timberlane to finish the scoring.
Concord 69, Manchester Memorial 41: At Concord, Leo Sudieh scored three touchdowns and Marc Audet contributed a pair for the Crimson Tide, who ran their record to 4-0. Memorial fell to 1-3. Sudieh had an 80-yard kickoff return for one score and also had rushing TDs from 6 and 40 yards out.

Audet scored on a 4-yard run and returned a fumble 30 yards for a touchdown.

"We scored on offense, defense and special teams," said Concord coach Eric Brown. "It was a good day for us."

Division III

Newport 43, Franklin 0: At Newport, the host Tigers opened up a 19-0 halftime lead and never looked back.

Derrick Pare, Tanner Sherman , Noah Wade and Riley Cook had rushing touchdowns for Newport (3-1) while Tommy Hogan connected with Jeremy Farnham for a 71-yard scoring pass and Gummy Hubert returned an onsides kick 57 yards to open the second half. Franklin fell to 0-4.
Bow 42, Gilford 7: At Gilford, senior Alex Reitze and junior Matt Ehrenberg each scored a couple of touchdowns to lead the Falcons, who improved to 3-1. Reitze opened the scoring with a 4-yard run and later scored on a 5-yard pass from quarterback Derek Polish.

Ehrenberg scored on runs of 35 and 52 yards. Polish scored the other Bow TD on a 2-yard keeper. Gilford is now 2-2.
