Rochester man sought in firearms theft arrested in Manchester
MANCHESTER — Authorities have arrested a Rochester man who was wanted in connection with firearms stolen during a string of burglaries in the Lebanon, Maine, area was arrested Tuesday in Manchester, according to a release from the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force.
Timothy Wayne Smith, 22, was also wanted on alleged parole violations, the release said. A release issued Sunday resulted in several tips received from around the state that led to Smith being arrested at an apartment at 200 Green St. in Manchester, Tuesday’s release said.
Smith was being held Tuesday night in Hillsborough County Jail pending his return to the New Hampshire State Prison in Concord, the release said.
