NHIAA Roundup: Bow girls top Campbell, remain unbeaten

The Bow girls' soccer team remained undefeated with a 5-2 win over host Campbell of Litchfield Monday.

Bow improved to 8-0-0 on the strength of two goals from Madeline Preston and single tallies from Maddie Cheney, Sarah Carlson and Lindsey Vogt.

The game was tied 1-1 after Campbell (5-3-1) got a goal from Kali Trunca in the first half. Bow went up 3-1 and Campbell pulled within a goal again early in the second half on a Savannah Reinitzer goal, but could not even the score before Bow added two insurance goals.
Goffstown 4, Lebanon 0: At Lebanon, Goffstown got goals from Nikki Paquette, Michele Tremblay, Tea Vivensio and Samantha Woodward in a shutout win. Derryfield 5, Wilton-Lyndeborough 1: At Wilton, the Cougars (8-0) spotted Wilton a 1-0 lead on a goal from Kelsey Rivedlett. Derryfield rallied behind two goals from Gabi Brummett and Emma Polgrean. Chloe Warner added one more goal. Derryfield goalie Cameron Huftalen had 10 saves and Wilton keeper Jenna Bragden stopped 14 shots.

Volleyball

Goffstown 3, Bishop Guertin 1: At Goffstown, the Grizzlies (5-3) won by game scores of 25-18, 25-10, 18-25 and 25-15. Goffstown was led by Jess Williamson (12 kills, four aces), Rene Roggenbuck (eight kills, five blocks), Kendra Siemiesz (14 assists, five digs), and Emilie Veilliux (nine assists, three digs).

Bishop Guertin (4-4) was paced by Michelle Langlois (eight kills), Lexie Cambray (six kills, seven aces) and Kelsi Massicotte (14 digs).Exeter 3, Londonderry 2: At Londonderry, Exeter outlasted Londonderry by game scores of 25-20, 22-25, 18-25, 25-21, and 15-12. The Lancers were led by Madison Milton and Kaitlyn Lipsitt with eight kills each.
Dover 3, Hollis-Brookline 0 (25-11, 26-24, 25-20): In Dover, the Cavaliers (3-5) were led by Savannah Werne (nine kills, four service points), Maddy Blake (three kills) and Kayla Barron (five service points). Dover is 9-0.
Bedford 3, Merrimack 2: At Bedford, the Bulldogs improved to 7-2 behind Becca Foti (five kills, five aces, 11 digs), Kendal Sonovick (five kills, five aces, 21 digs) and Hannah Koehler (12 kills, five aces, four digs, six blocks). Leading Merrimack were Kara Lyford (seven digs), Jen Coffey (21 kills) and Jo Coffey (39 assists, 22 digs). The Tomahawks dropped to 6-2. Boys' soccerEpping 2, Newmarket 0: Madison Demars and Jake West scored to lead the way for Epping (5-2) Saturday.

Field hockey

Pinkerton 4, Manchester Central 0: At Gill Stadium in Manchester, Kaylie DeCosmo scored twice and Samantha Day and Julie Saltamartini added single tallies to lead the Astros (8-1). Pinkerton goalie Abbey Doherty made 10 saves. Central fell to 2-5-2. Salem 5, Bishop Guertin 1: At Nashua, Mikaela Gauvain, Allie Sirmaian, Amanda Travaglini (two goals) and Lizzie Twomey (who also had an assist) paced the Salem (8-2) attack.

BG (3-5-1) got its goal from Kristin Cameron. Salem keeper Meaghan Williams stopped eight shots. Cardinals goalie Kelly Mahoney made 19 saves. NHIAA golf
