Same thief thought behind thefts at Hudson, Merrimack liquor stores


HUDSON -- Police are asking for help from the pubic identifying a suspect in stealing at a liquor store in Merrimack and a theft from the state store in Hudson.

Hudson police said the investigation into the attempted theft from the State Liquor Store on Lowell Road was helped when a video tape of someone stealing from another liquor was sent to the Hudson store

A video tape of a theft at the Merrimack store was sent to the store in Hudson, which does not have video surveillance equipment. A clerk who was on duty at the time said the woman in a photograph taken from the tape appeared to be the person who tried to steal from the store in Hudson.

Police have asked that anyone who can identify the person in the photograph to call Hudson police at (603) 886-6011 or the Hudson Crime Line at (603) 866-1150.
