Bishop Guertin’s Chelsea Sedlar wins NHIAA girls' golf title


Bishop Guertin of Nashua sophomore Chelsea Sedlar captured the 2013 NHIAA Girls’ Golf Tournament championship with a five-stroke victory at Salem’s Campbell’s Scottish Highlands Saturday.

Sedlar carded a winning five-over-par 41-35-76 round. She toppled junior Kaitlyn Lutinski of Pinkerton Academy of Derry (42-39-81) and Derryfield’s Molly Fitzpatrick (41-44-85).Lauren Dejoe of Trinity (46-40-86) was fourth and was followed by Sara Feith of St. Thomas (46-42-88), Courtney Otto of BG (46-43-89), Samantha Reed of Concord (47-43-90), Ashley Tewksbury of Oyster River (49-41-91) and Elizabeth Nelson of Kingswood (48-44-92).

Completing the field of 13 players were Hayley Reed of Concord (46-49-95), Indiana Jones of Prospect Mountain (49-46-95), McKenzie McGrath of Exeter (48-52-100) and Brody Johnson of BG (60-53-113).
