NH College Sports Roundup: St. Anselm football still winless, falls to Assumption

Keith Charles scored two touchdowns but St. Anselm fell, 41-27, to Assumption in Northeast-10 football play Friday. The Hawks are 0-6.

Joe Hayman and Justin Bernard scored the other Hawks touchdowns. Andrew Murphy had two scording passes, one to Charles and one to Bernard.

Field hockey

Johnson and Wales 1, Rivier 0: Cassandra McClaflin's penalty stroke goal in the final minute sent Rivier to a 1-0 field hockey loss Friday to Johnson and Wales University at Raider Field. Makenzie Flagg finished the game with six saves.


Dartmouth 2, UMass Lowell 0: Maggie Scanlon and Eliza Becker scored the goals in the first field hockey meeting between the schools in 21 years Friday at Chase Field in Hanover.


UNH 3, Maine 2: Meg Flatley scored a goal 10:46 into overtime to lift the Wildcats on Friday night at Memorial Field in Durham. Megan Bozek and Emma Compagna scored the Wildcats' other goals.
