Hudson man, 18, faces drunk driving charge after crash

HUDSON — An 18-year-old motorist who had to be removed from his vehicle with the Jaws of Life tool after driving his truck into a tree Sunday morning, has been charged with aggravated drunken driving, said police.

Derek Wisnosky, 18, of Hudson was trapped inside the truck after it crashed near Thorning Road and Memorial Drive. A passenger, Dylan Conroy, also of Hudson, managed to exit the vehicle without assistance.

Wisnosky was charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated and released on $15,000 personal recognizance pending arraignment in Nashua District Court on Dec. 31.

Police said Wisnosky was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol were believed to be factors in the crash, police said.
