Today's Union Leader and this weekend’s New Hampshire Sunday News include the state Treasury Department’s Abandoned Property Division’s list of people and businesses appearing to own unclaimed assets being held for them under the Unclaimed Property Act.
The list has a six-digit number with each owner and, in some cases, a two-letter abbreviation in parentheses. The number is unique to each property and corresponds to information in the division’s records about the item and its owner. The abbreviations identify the relationship status of the owner as provided by the business that reported the property.
