MANCHESTER — Dyn announced its third quarter as one of the most successful in company history, as the Internet performance company closed more than $15 million in bookings and hired 41 employees.
Bolstered by more than 340 new enterprise clients and 80,000 new self-service customers, Dyn saw an 18 percent growth in revenue over the second quarter of the same financial year.
New employees were hired in both Dyn’s Manchester headquarters and Brighton, England, office. Many of the additions were engineering and technical talent.
New hires include chief architect Matt Larson, former vice president of research at Verisign and director of Verisign Labs; Nate Meyer, director of traffic management product; Alex Howells, director of network services; Alex Kasyanov, director of Web development; and Mike Kemp, director of platform engineering.
In sales and business operations, two new vice presidents joined the team: Matt Engel, vice president of business development, and Dave Allen, vice president, legal. Paul Heywood, formerly head of new business at Claranet Limited, joined Dyn as the EMEA sales director; and Clint Miller, formerly vice president of sales at ProfitBricks, joined as director of enterprise sales. Larry Concannon joined as director of product marketing.
