Missing Alstead teen found safe in Vt.

A missing Alstead teenager was located in Vermont early Saturday and returned safely to her parents, state police said.

Alexandra Cuevas, 16, was last seen getting into a dark-colored sedan at about 7 a.m. Friday at Fall Mountain High School in Langdon.

"The circumstances surrounding her disappearance are still under investigation," police said in a statement.

Police search for missing Alstead girl, 16

State and local police are looking for help from the public in finding a missing teen who has not been seen since leaving school early Friday morning and getting into a car.

Alexandra Cuevas, 16, was last seen getting into a dark-colored sedan at about 7 a.m. Friday at Fall Mountain High School in Langdon.

Cuevas is described as being 5-feet tall, weighing 105 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing black yoga pants, a hoodie and black and purple DC sneakers. She was toting an olive green backpack.

Police have asked anyone with information about the vehicle or the girl to call State Police at 358-3333 or Alstead Police at 355-2000.
