Stimulus increase of food stamps benefits end Nov. 1
Recipients will see two changes in their benefits this fall. On Oct. 1, benefits increase slightly for most households to reflect the costs of living. However, on Nov. 1, most families will see a decrease in benefits when extra funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 will expire, according to the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Division of Family Assistance.
