Two arrested in Manchester carjacking

MANCHESTER — Two men are under arrest after a car-jacking outside Murphy's Tap Room early Sunday morning.

Police said just before 2 a.m., service driver Ken Lemear of Manchester pulled up in front of the 494 Elm St. bar in a 2006 Lincoln Town Car to pick up a customer. As he got out of the car, a man shoved him aside, got into the car and drove off, heading south on Elm Street.

Lemear told police he saw a second man in the passenger seat as the car left the area.

Moments later, officer Cliff Easton found a car abandoned in the parking lot of Dunkin' Donuts at Valley and Elm streets.

Officer Mike Caron began checking the area and spotted two me inside the fence at Liberty Utilities.

The men, identified as Sean Shisko, 34, of 229 Lake Ave., and Shane Gronlund, 34, of 94 Beech Hill Ave., were arrested.

Shisko was identified as the man who allegedly shoved Lemear and stole the Lincoln. He is charged with robbery, criminal trespass and resisting arrest.

Police said Gronlund was the passenger in the stolen car. He is charged with criminal trespass.
