Two late goals lift Devils over Bruins, 4-3

BOSTON -- Defenseman Marek Zidlicky scored the tying goal with 68 seconds to play and Andy Greene notched the game-winner 23 seconds later as visiting New Jersey snapped Boston's four-game winning streak with a 4-3 win Saturday night.

Adam Henrique and Damien Brunner also had power-play goals for the Devils, who scored all four with the man advantage en route to halting a seven-game losing streak against the Bruins.

Martin Brodeur turned aside 25 shots to secure his first victory of the season and first win in 10 games versus Boston.

Jarome Iginla had a goal and two assists and defenseman Torey Krug and Milan Lucic scored for the Bruins, who could not protect a one-goal lead after New Jersey gained a 5-on-3 power play with 1:49 to play.

Zidlicky's blast from the right point beat Tuukka Rask (28 saves) for the equalizer before Greene pumped home the game-winner from the left circle on a puck that skidded to him off a missed shot by Brunner.

Krug put the Bruins on top with a power-play tally that deflected off Henrique's skate and Iginla doubled the lead when his pass from the right boards caromed off Brunner's skate and past Brodeur at 9:19 of the opening period.

Henrique cut the deficit in half two minutes later, sweeping a long rebound past Rask stick side.

Boston restored the two-goal edge when Lucic beat Brodeur with 56 seconds left in the period, but the Devils countered with a last-minute goal in the middle session when Brunner's backhander sneaked between Rask and the post.

Krug was whistled for a double minor for high-sticking Brunner in the face with 3:15 to play and a delay of game on the Bruins' Patrice Bergeron opened the door for the stunning comeback.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Henrique's goal gave the Devils a power-play tally in five consecutive games. ... Krecji has two goals and eight assists during a seven-game point streak while Iginla boosted his career totals to 18 points in 19 games against New Jersey. ... Rask picked up an assist on Iginla's goal, the second of his career.
