Ethics group to probe state Sen. Peter Bragdon

CONCORD — The New Hampshire Legislative Ethics Committee announced Monday it has opened a preliminary probe of state Sen. Peter Bragdon, the former state Senate president who is now executive director of Health Trust, formerly the Local Government Center.

Bragdon resigned as Senate President in September after accepting the position at the embattled organization.

The complaint against Bragdon, R-Milford, was filed by Rep. Rick Watrous, D-Concord. The subject of the complaint was not revealed by the committee following a closed door meeting that lasted more than an hour.
